Where is the Notifications settings for the Weather Channel app in iOS 8?

I had the weather channel app installed and had notifications off, after updating to iOS 8 wether channel is not under notifications on or off. I've tried to delete and reinstall and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas

Look under the "Settings" tab near the bottom where the installed app listing is located. Numerous apps have a notification settings therein.

I've tried that, theirs no notification option under weather channel tab. I can get it to request permission again

Are looking the the main Notifications settings?

Settings > Notifications > The Weather

Try reinstalling the app then launching it and see if you get the pop-up asking permission to send notifications.

The weather doesn't show up at all under settings>notifications. I've tried to to delete and reinstall. I even set the clock ahead like other articles and nothing

Yeah. I had this problem with a couple of apps when I updated to iOS 8 on my 5S.

What I ended up having to do was deleting the app, turning the phone off and on, re-installing the app and waited for the prompt asking if I would like to receive notifications in order for the app to show up in Notification Center settings.
