.....especially when you're zonked out on cough syrup with codeine.

I'm trying to recover from pneumonia and yesterday I made the delightful mistake of going to work in 6F weather with a windchill of -15.

Needless to say, I'm coughing and wheezing like an asthmatic racehorse as a result. So last night I took some cough syrup with codeine and I reached to put my Beloved on my nightstand and dropped it. I heard a dull thud.

I rolled over and in my drugged state decided I'd find it in the morning. But not even codeine can take away my OCD over my Beloved so I started looking by the bed. No iPhone. Behind the nightstand. No iPhone. Behind the bed. No iPhone. Under the bed. No iPhone. So I grab my Note 4 (it's one a.m.) and go to Find My iPhone and sound the tone. I HEAR but I can't place it. So I call my golden retriever off my bed and ask him "Where is it? Find it!!!!"

Sure enough. Max looks at me and then sticks his face in my Uggs boot by my bed. THERE'S MY BELOVED!!!!!

So I went downstairs got a cookie and gave it to him.
