This would be something that would be more of an improvement on battery life if the screen were AMOLED. Not LCD

I' we only turned it on a couple times just to test it, but like others have said, the display would need to be AMOLED instead of LCD for there to be a difference.

Although intended for the colorblind, grayscale can be used to save battery life. Tests I've read about say 1 to 3 hours per charge. But the visuals are hard to get used to. You wouldn't like it.
