For me it's no change, if battery life is your only concern I recommend you to jailbreak, the advantages are great!

can anyone tell me with this jailbreak method if you all sudden have documents and data filled in on your usage ? i have 400mb of light blue color in itunes document and data .

I'm not showing it on mine and I used this root method not sure what that is.

every time i ran cydia first time it added 400+mb documents and data pangu never did that. fresh install wiped phone clean and all still did it. dunno why its doing that ive tried restore it 4 times every time i open cydia first time it ads all that into it. never done it before untill i used this method

Of those 4 times did you restore a backup? A backup that may have been jailbroken before? That backup may still contain your old jaikbreak data.

No backup I restored phone to new I didn't even sign in with my id I basically wiped it set up minimal jail broke it opened cydia and it did that

Just Jailbroke my IPhone 5 altho everything is working fine Winterboard is not working , is their another way to get themes??

Im jailbroken on 8.1. Do all the tweaks updated to iOS 8 work with 8.1.1? And is it really worth the upgrade? I'm on an iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 and both are jailbroken.

Hi, I jailbroke my wife's ipad for her on to taig 8.1.1 but noticed that in cydia there was no cydia substrate which meant I couldn't install cydia tweaks. Can anyone confirm whether they have cydia substrate or how I can get it please.

Just curious if anyone did this jail break with out restoring your phone. I did with Pangu and it took like 4 hours LOL. I had to replace my phone since I cracked the screen so I got my replacement and had it jail broken but my restore didn't have some of my game data so I tried to reset but my phone got stuck then I had to DFU and restore thru iTunes but it updated my phone to 8.1.1 so now I'm just curious. Sorry for the long post LOL.

i updated my 5S to ios 8.1.2 today and used my work computer to jailbreak it and all went smooth. all my previous tweaks seem to work just fine as they did on ios 8.1.

did you make a backup of your phone before you did the jailbreak?

i did yes but i dont restore it i just make backup incase something critical happens, always when i restore and jailbreak set it up as new.
