Is there a text application on Cydia that would do the same as textplus?

Hello !
I'm looking for an application on Cydia that would do the same thing as textplus, but it could allow me to keep the same phone number that I already have on my iPhone. My problem is that my 3g isn't always working so i would like I way to be able to receive text message by wi-fi, like iMessage that would also works with people that doesn't have an iPhone

I believe whats app does that...it links your phone number to the application itself and allows you to have a log in name, but you dont have to have a log in name to use it. it will also find others that have the whats app installed that are in your contacts list.
