Funny Siri Story

I had my iPad Air charging in the family room, my wife was watching some TV when a commercial came on about Siri I assume. Some part of the commercial someone said "Hey Siri" and my iPad responded and scared the crap out of her she said she jumped three feet.

It's meant to be that way as it is a feature for CarPlay while the phone is plugged in.

It keeps happening randomly while watching TV for me, usually when nothing has been said that remotely sounds like hey siri.

Glad you guys posted this, it has been happening to me nightly while watching tv, phone charging and not touched for hours, and suddenly will respond to something that was said on tv, I've replayed the tv segment and did not hear anything close to Hey Siri

Yeah. I was cussing out someone on the freeway yesterday and Siri jumped into action. I thought maybe he was going to come to my defense, but he was pretty useless...

You can turn that feature off in Siri settings.
