The download and install was less than 10 minutes. Works great, thus far, but I'll do a clean install later this week or next weekend...:)
Thread Stuck. :)
How do you update a jail broken device ?
I'm doing a clean install tomorrow lol

Restore using iTunes.
Heck, knowing "me", I just might do it tomorrow also...;)

Why does this keep happening when there is an update? I have to update my phone via iTunes all the time...
I'm only doing it if my internet speed is stable enough to download it. But I want to do it soon cause some of my apps are "stuttering" after the update.

The only change I could find between beta 5 and the public release is "iOS in the car" got changed to "CarPlay" and the icon changed.

Connect to a Wi-Fi network and my try again.
Reboot your device to see if that helps
It doesn't make a difference. I was on my home wifi and only disconnected to see if it is a wifi issue when I took the screenshot.
Anyway, this happens every time there is an update. I cannot update OTA. I have even done a clean install previously but it changed nothing..,
My update is complete. I like the new slide to answer and the call buttons. The darker color option is good and bold keyboard.
I woke up around 1:15pm and saw there was a update I was hype lol. So far I do notice it being more snappy.

Do you have a firewall setting of some sort that could be causing you to be unable to connect and retrieve the update OTA? Have you tried resetting your network settings - Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings
I don't think that's the issue because my IPhone 4S updates just fine on the same network. I have just about tried everything but I still end up with the same issue come update time.
Edit, funny thing is that iTunes recognises that an update is available the minute I connect the phone to the computer. It's just OTA that is balked for me.
I did and the stutter is gone from most apps but a few apps still have it.

Oh okay. Those specific apps may need to be updated by the developer(s). Give it a few hours to see if things improve.
