I'm having trouble updating my jailbroken iPhone 5 to iOS 7.0.4

i have iphone 5 with ios 6.1(jailbroken).I tried updating it to ios 7.0.4.couldnt update says firmware not compatible.Have the correct firmware-a1429 model..I did this thru shift+update.now trying to update thru itunes..Can anyone tell wats the problem.Wat if it says not compatible again after trying update thru itunes.Please someone help

Put the device in DFU mode and try again or try again. It'll take eventually. Anyway, Merry Christmas to you and your family...

Do this. Restore the phone. It will update and wipe the jailbreak. Then you can jailbreak again.

I've been hearing that apple's update servers are being slammed so that might be the issue. I recommend if you are updating to a newer version of iOS and you are currently jailbroken to restore to that newer version of iOS instead of updating.

Check the model number on the back of the phone just to make sure

Have a1429 model..downloaded the exact firwamre for it,but still.
