Before iOS 8 comes out. The jailbreak devs will not give an ETA on when it will release.

If I'm on 7.0.1, should I stay on it? Or does updating to maintenance releases like 7.0.2 affect a future jailbreak solution? Asking for a friend.

and THIS ladies and gentlemen is exactly why i stopped jailbreaking

thank you and goodnight.

I'm thinking of stopping because my battery life was trash!!!

I enjoyed my app locker though. Only reason I would continue.

It took almost 5 months for a JB when the iOS 6 came out last year. I'm thinking it isn't going to happen any sooner with iOS 7.

Good point.
Apple does seem to make it more difficult for the jailbreak devs every year.
Didn't Evasion rely on 5 or 6 exploits to create an untethered JB?
Crazy.

How will this even remotely affect you if it does come out?

For an "Ambassador" you really are amazing- Mr. "Anti-jailbreak"

I prefer to keep my iPhone stock and I feel that keeping the ecosystem intact is better for Apple. We have an equal amount of Ambassadors and staff here at iMore that are pro and anti jailbreak.

Just stating my opinion, don't like jailbreaking.

Hiss---booooo----nyah :p

Nah, it's ok. To each their own, and all that even if your "that" is all stock and boring.

I propose that anyone who is against jailbreaking, shall from now on be known by the affectionate prison term 'Screw' because they want to keep everyone locked down.

Fight the power!
