I am currently on iOS 7 beta 6 ( i have been using it since its inception and have a few bugs) on my iPhone 5 and I own a windows 8 machine. I know that "windows" users can't sync their content with iOS 7 GM since the 11.1 beta is not available to windows users and only available to OSX users. My intent is to update to iOS 7 GM from iOS 7 Beta 6 on my windows machine and restore back to 6.1.4 just in case I encounter any issues. I plan to upgrade from iOS 6.1.4 to my current "iOS 7 Beta 6" setup before the 18th of September. Can anyone help? Thanks and have a great night.

If you're worried that you can't sync your content on iTunes once you're on iOS 7 GM
then when upgrading to it, use the shift+check for update option instead of shift+restore.
This way iTunes won't erase your content and settings and will update. No need to go into
DFU mode. I did this on a windows 7 machine after I learned yesterday that this can be done.
