Can I Sync iOS 7 GM via iTunes w/out version 11.1?

Hello,

So I'm not getting help from regular Apple websites... maybe I'll have luck here. I got iOS 7 GM today and I tried syncing with iTunes, but I can't sync until I have iTunes 11.1. Is there a way around that? If not, when is iOS 11.1 coming out?

Not yet. You can backup to iCloud, but not to your computer (yet)... and cannot sync until you get iTunes 11.1... since iOS 7 is being released to the public, the iTunes 11.1 for Windows should be out by then, if not earlier...

Actually, MacBook pro user... Just got the beta from a not so reputable source. My UDID is dev registered though. I just don't have access to the dev account I'm registered under.

I can tell you that iOS 7 GM can be installed via iTunes 11.0.5 without losing any of your data & installed apps, however, you cannot perform any sync functions with it. As for iTunes 11.1, I assume it will be released around the same time that iOS 7 is officially available to non-devs. Again, that is my assumption...

It is only available for the Mac right now. It is iTunes 11.1 beta 2 and can be downloaded from the apple developer site.

The uuid being registered isn't needed for the GM. But you do need to find the iTunes beta. Try the same source that you got the GM from.

Or just wait the whole week until it's released. It's really not such a bad thing.

It's safe to assume that iTunes 11.1 will come out no later than Sept 18, but probably a day or two earlier. If you can wait to synch until then you'll be fine

yea,,,I'm in the same situation.. Also since I updated to ios 7 GM i can't connect to wifi. But I get a good signal so I can wait 4 days to fix it.

I'm having no Wi-Fi issues at all with iOS 7 GM. Have you tried rebooting or resetting your network settings?

iTunes 11.1 is being released tomorrow. Pending where in the world you live. 00:00 hours midnight in your area on September 17, 2013. It's 9 am here where I am in Norway so in 15 hours for me will I be able to download iTunes 11.1. I am amazed with iOS 7! Upgraded on Thursday thanks to Megaupload!
