This is something I am excited about. I hate that when I go to send any type of video directly, that it is compressed due to carrier messaging limits. Dropbox is an alternative though not always convenient. So I am wondering, has anyone been able to test this feature to see if videos shared remain uncompressed? I do not have any friends running beta IOS 7 so I have not been able to try it out.

I have the beta and I haven't tried it yet but I'm wondering if the videos would be downloaded on to the device or if it's streamed from apples servers

I'll be watching this thread to see what happens. I've tried the shared photo streams but not with video.

It worked. My videos don't show up in my photo stream but I created a shared photo stream and shared it with Finn and then added a video. He/she was able to see it and said the quality looked good. Fin was then able to add a video of his/her own to the same shared photo stream and I was able to see it. Quality also looked good on my end.

Very excited about this. This will make sharing actual videos very convenient with my friends that still use iphones. I think I will find plenty of ways to make use of airdrop as well. Starting to get fired up lol

I just wished my videos showed up in my personal, not shared, photo stream.
