no wifi - stuck in safe mode

Hi, I woke up this morning to find phone in safe mode, tried and tried but could not get it out of safe mode. I went to computer to search when I found that my wifi was down. I rebooted router, then phone cam out of safe mode. Is this normal, do you have to have wifi to come out of safe mode? Not sure what happened.

That's strange. My device is not jailbroken, but heck, I've never even read about anything like that happening before.

Thanks for responding, I removed the last tweak I had installed so hopefully it will not go into safe again. Again, thanks for responding
