Custom NC Background glitch w/ ios6?

I downloaded Custom NC Background with my ip5 on ios6 and when applying the background, it doesnt stretch it all the way to the top of the NC. The top is see through which is very annoying. Is this a known glitch/incompatibility issue?

If noone can help me with that question, could someone tell me how to manually change the image instead? I don't mind either way; I tried replacing the "BulletinLinen" (or w/e its actually called) png file but that did nothing.

Any help would be great!
