I want to delete the downloaded software update

They're looking for something like "Software Update Killer" but it hasn't been updated for iOS 7. It would hide the Settings badge and notification. Would also delete it if it had already been downloaded.

My Iphone was reset to factory settings before updating and now will no longer restore and update because the software is corrupted for ios update 8.3

My Iphone was reset to factory settings before updating and now will no longer restore and update because the software is corrupted for ios update 8.3

1. Locate the .ipsw file on your computer and then delete it.
2. Put your device in DFU mode and connect it to your computer.
3. Initiate the computer's iTunes app.
4. When iTunes detects the device in recovery, choose to restore and update it.

This will cause iTunes to download and install a fresh copy of iOS 8.3. When finished, set up your device as you see fit.
