Is this new in 6.1?

Are the volume controls on the lock screen different in 6.1? I thought they were the white icons in 6.0, with the blue volume control. I double clicked the home button on lock screen and saw these aluminum icons.

Yes, the music controls on the lock screen are 'new' to iOS6.1
