iPad and iPhone apps and music

For those of you that own an iPhone and iPad, do you use the feature within settings to automatically sync 'apps' & 'music' purchased to both devices?

Yes to both on my iPhone. Only music to my iPad. ...or is it the other way around.... :\

I only use the music sync between my devices. I prefer to choose the apps to be installed manually.

Just the auto downloading of music on both devices. There's certain apps I want on my iPhone and on my iPad. It's usually make it a pain to manage because of that. But my music will of course be consistent across all devices.
