Upgrade pop up?

I had a pop up on my phone a couple of days ago telling me that os 6.0.1 was available. No kidding, there's been an alert tag for it since it came out. I haven't upgraded yet because I'm jailbroken. I don't recall this sort of message before and I've rarely upgraded quickly. Anyone else had one of these? Is this new behavior from Apple?

One pop up isn't a problem. I have enough tweaks now that I don't download others without a clear need. Anyway, I just wanted to know if this was typical behavior as I didn't see this when OS 5 came out.

It seems to be a typical behavior.
I'm jailbroken too, and I got this popup when iOS 6 was released and also about 2 or 3 days ago when 6.0.1 came out. I just ignored it, since I don't want to upgrade either. So nothing to worry about.

The Settings badging to notify of an iOS update has been there since 5.x, when Apple introduced OTA updates.
