Tried to unlock, failed, tried to revert, failed again

Hey there, first time poster so excuse any bad explanations

Basically, I tried to unlock my Iphone 4 (locked to OrangeUK) by first downgrading to 5.1.1 then unlocking using SAMprefs. All was going well until at the END of the guide, it says that this method no longer works, so I then tried to revert the changes made so I could just go back to having a non JB'd iPhone 4. But since restoring to ios6 I can't even use an orange sim anymore!

If anyone has ANY suggestions or further questions it would be very much appreciated!

I factory unlock mine for 6 bucks i bought it on ebay.but im on att though.theres a forum here on imore discussing about unlocking.good luck.
