Notification bubble won't go away

I am using a iPod touch 4th gen and I installed iOS 6 and I can't get rid of the notification bubble. I powered off and it still won't go away

As always, if there is a problem that you can't figure out, that a reboot can't correct, than best thing to do is plug it into iTunes and restore factory settings.

I reset to factory settings and its still there

Why is the notification in reference to? Whatever it is, did you open up the app to see "all" of the information associated with it?

Try plugging it to your computer and then via the computer's iTunes app, check for an update and see if it will disengage.
