It cant be done ( yet ) using this method, only at&t iphones in the US

As far as I've been able to tell, the iPhone 5 and 4S shouldn't need to be restored to be unlocked, where the 4 does need to be restored.

Actually any model can be restored to unlock.

Doesn't Verizon unlock if you call them and tell them you're traveling?
