Removing badges for Mail

Is there a way (no jailbreak), the remove the badge for a specific mail account?

I really like to keep all my accounts (5) without any unread email however there is 1 work account that I will always have unread email and I really hate to see that badge.

If you're using the stock mail app then, no, I don't *think* you can.

You have to jailbreak, and once you do that you can download tweaks to allow you to clear the notification badges, etc.

i believe iOS 6 allows for this to happen. i will verify this the next time i use it
