iPhone network name with wifi

Hello all.

I have an iPhone 4. Jailbroken (untethered) and was wondering if there is a way to completely rename my device so when I connect to a wifi network, someone can't see my device connected as NAME's iPhone.

Reasoning for this is the IT guy at my work said I can have the wifi password by boss man often checks for people connected an such. So I don't want it to say iPhone. Call it "mac mini" as we have loads of them.

I'm not sure if this will work, but try Setting -> General -> About and put a new name for the device.

Edit: If you don't see the option (I think it was added in iOS 5) try renaming the device from iTunes (right click -> rename)
