Can I update OTA to remove jailbreak?

I've decided to update to 5.1 and remove my 5.0.1 jailbreak (even if they didn't give me my 3G switch back...). If I install the update over the air, will the jailbreak be removed without any problems, or do I need to update through iTunes? Thanks!

Do it through iTunes. OTA updates don't seem to work correctly with jailbroken devices.

Everything I've read says you have to go through iTunes. If I were to update & remove my JB, I'd restore & update just to be on the safe side.

I would NOT ota to 5.1.

Yeah Bigboss says absolutely do not use OTA update for a jailbroken device.
