Does jailbreak slow data speeds?

Reason I ask is, my iPhone 4S was much faster when I first got it 2 months ago and prior to jailbreaking it. It seems like I went from 6 to 7mbps download speed down to 1.5 to 2Mbps after jailbreaking my 4S. I am not sure if this is just a AT&T network issue in my area or somehow related to my jailbreak.

JB itself does not. Any tweaks you've loaded since JB may have though.

I never thought about this. I believe I have about 40+ tweaks on my 4S right now.

I didn't think so either until I looked at the dates of the speed tests. The slow down occurred after I jailbroke my 4S. If you look at the screenshot that I posted my speeds were faster before I jailbroke. The odd thing is, even though the test itself comes out slower, when I go to websites my 4S loads the pages fast not slow.

It seems like your carrier is throttling you. I don't thing the jailbreak caused this.

I don't see what reason AT&T would have for throttling my unlimited plan when I use less than 700MB each month. They said they would only throttle unlimited users who reach 3GB... I wonder if I switched my data plan to the 3GB/$30 if my speeds would suddenly increase.
