how do i go back to 5.0.1 while keeping all the stuff i have now...i tried to save it and it said that i can't restore it because 5.0.1 is outdated compared to 5.1...and when i tried to restore from cloud it said there is no backup history

afaik, it cannot be done. i tried once during beta 1 and experienced the same. then just restored as new, which is typically my preferred method anytime i restore anyways

Your best bet is to use apps that have external save functions. So you can reimport. Built in app data / backup will not downgrade as far as i know.

So basically is it impossible to downgrade without losing data? theres no other way.. that sucks i really wanna jailbreak but don't wanna lose my app data and contact and everything

no....Why would that be a thought at all..Who would think oh i won't upgrade considering a jailbreak will come out in who knows when. Plus the whole i had no idea that i couldn't do something like this
