Hi Group-

My wife upgraded to the iPhone 4s last night. Just wondering if there is a jailbreak and tether app for the 4s?

I currently have a Palm Pre and have put mytether on that. So I have basic knowledge of how to do this. Also is there a wiki page or step by step directions on how to do this?

There apparently was a tether app in the AppStore for a short time but it has been revoked and pulled from the AppStore.

Problem with "using Google" is there are many sites claiming they HAVE a 4s jailbreak, or the dev team has cracked it, etc. etc. That's why this forum exists, so people can ask a question like this and get a straight answer.

That is why I posted. I saw mixed things on youtube and google on saying it's not out and it is.

No prob. It hopefully won't be too far behind the untethered 4 jailbreak that just came out. It cracks me up when people post responses to some things on a forum like they're "irritated". I guess some fail to realize that there are newbies to the iPhone (myself included) who rely on places like this to get good info and learn about the platform. Top search results in Google are generally "fixed" by certain websites to draw people in to a product, get you to pay for something that you could find for free, etc. It isn't the end-all-be-all of internet information..lol.

Ditto. Google sucks these days for researching about jailbreaking. You have to specfically search for legitimate websites and forums for valid info.
