Tethered Jailbreak - stuck in boot loop

Hi,
i tried to install a .deb in the usual way, rebooted via redsn0w and stuck in boot loop. I have semi-tether installed so can use the phone, and i removed the .deb from the cydia install folder tried again and still doesnt work, anything i can change in root folder? btw i dont wanna restore it will be so boring to do.
Any help is appriciated

If using the "just boot" option in redsn0w doesn't work, you'll need a restore.

The usual way??? Like through cydia??
