I cant' figure out how to dial symbols using the phone keypad...

on the iphone you have to punch them by looking at the key corresponding to the letter..

ok.. do I'm a dork.. that wasn't really hard now was it... DOAH!

tried that... so when I want to dial the letter D, which is number 3, how do you do that? i've tried holding down the 3, but that doesn't work. I tried tapping 3, but just get 33333 (or however many times I tap).

any suggestions?

ok its pretty simple to dial 1800 best buy its 1800 2378289 you just use the number that the letter is on

Ha.. I was trying to make it harder than I had to.. kept resorting back to my blackberry days where I had to click the ALT key then the number:o

yes when I had a blackberry I actually liked not having to figure it out but with the iphone you have to figure it out haha

Yeah it's weird. It's back to regular phone days.vi have found that apple usually makes things easy.
