Ok, I haven't found anything here on how to do this but...

I selected to just "Download Only" the update for the iPhone4 to 5.0.1. When I am trying to install it on my iPhone, I just want it to recognize the update rather than trying to download and update all over again. If I do a 'Restore' will that work? Will it find 5.0.1?

Please let me know or tell me how to do it. Thanks!

I think if you click the update button it will recognize that you already have it downloaded.. However if your on ios5.0 you can upgrade straight from your phone with like a 55 mb download..


settings>general>software update.

Thanks! I was going to do that but I figured since iTunes showed a 785mb download, I'd best do it over the 'net.
