test a phone that has broken LCD?

Anyone ever hear of a program that allows you to use the phone through a computer? I might buy a very cheap iphone 4 but it has a broken LCD so I can't really test it but if I could verify that it works (not just itunes sees it) then I will buy it. So, does this exist anywhere?

If the phone is jailbroken, then you should ask if it has Veency installed. Then you could you software like TightVNC (Windows) and Chicken for VNC (Mac) to use the phone through a computer. In case the phone is jailbroken but doesn't have Veency, it might be worth trying to install Veency through a Windows app called iFunBox.
