iOS 5 surprises keep coming! It appears that an unimplemented autocorrect feature can be enabled with a simple plist edit: http://gizmodo.com/5858149/how-to-enable-ios-5s-hidden-auto+correct

I'd guess that this will also be available as a tweak in Cydia before very long. Not sure I'd use it, but it's an interesting tweak nonetheless.

Just saw that, I've always wondered why Android phones have this and not the iPhone, weird how it's in there but not enabled.

I hope someone makes it a Cydia package as those instructions are vague..

Here are some better instructions; especially see the comments if you're interested in using iFile as a shortcut. Be aware though that early reports are calling it a bit buggy.
