i havnt unlocked an iPhone since the first generation, and a lot has changed.

im a little confused on BB preservation, and Blobs.

i have an iPhone 4. baseband 2.10.04, os version 4.1 8b117. can someone tell me if i can unlock, JB, and upgrade to ios5 tethered or semi-thethered? do i need a sim hack, like a gevey, or can i do this all software based? thanks so much!
    i appreciate it

Snowbreeze can update to ios5 and save your bb you will have to be tethered but there is a Cydia tweak makes it semi tethered then u can unlock with ultra snow no grevy sim needed
