5.0.1 beta are suppose to IMPROVE battery performance over 5.0. Are you seeing something different???

Yeah, it improved significantly for me, at least in respects to standby time. Normally I wake up with my battery in the 70s or lower (that's after a full charge). This time, I woke up to around 92% and I actually got more sleep than normal (8 hours). Also, I didn't have it full charged before I went to bed last night.

I upgrade to 5.0.1 beta 2 and havent noticed a great improvement of the battery life. I too was hoping for more as it still doesn't get me through the day with approx 4 hours use and 12 hours standby.

I also notice that it gets quite warm around the sim card area after a couple of minutes use Anyone else noticed this?

4 & 12?? i'm getting 5.5-6 hrs usage out of 12 hrs standby. my device does get warm at times but it always has since the day i bought
