Redsnow Query

Hello all,
I have a 3GS running 4.0.1 and modem firmware 5.13.04 and the old bootrom. I want to upgrade to iOS5 and unlock it. Here are the steps Im going to follow:
1> Restore to a custom ios5 using redsnow on a mac
2> Jaiblbreak using redsnow
3> Unlock using ultrasnow

I have one question. I dont have the original sim and I cant see the Hactivate option on Redsnow either... Do I have to manually select it or does redsnow do it automatically?

That sounds fine; redsn0w should hacktivate automatically. Just make sure to use the latest version available from the Dev Team.

If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure the hacktivate option is in the Set Extras menu, or whatever it's called. Check that, then jailbreak, and I think you'll be good.
