is iOS 5 Good and Stockable iOS for iphone 3gs?

i have read allot of complains regarding iOS5

i have iphone 3gs iOS 4.1 with ipad Base Band.

and i am deciding if i will change my iOS4.1 to iOS 5..

any suggestions?? which is more good?

and does iOS5 already official iOS?
