ios 5 jailbreak via Redsn0w issue

hii guys
ivejust downloaded the latest version for my iphone and tried to jailbreak it through redsn0w
the jailbreaking went smooth until the time the phone tried to reboot..it got stuck at the wheel...
if anyone know the issue that would be great

BTW it is 3GS

It's a tethered jailbreak, plug your phone into your PC, run Redsnow, reboot while connected to PC....

you'll prob get stuck on the instructions above ^^^ when you run redsn0w with the phone connected choose the option just boot tethered then follow the instruction to put your phone into DFU mode. This is a tethered JB and evertime you reboot you have to do this procedure.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but after reboot and go thru the tethered procedure, do you need to REdownload all of the cydia apps or will they still be there?

Everything will be there; the "boot tethered" part is just to start up the OS. And really, after you get things set up the way you like, you'll almost never have to reboot.

Awesome thank you massie....so after the UN tethered comes out will it be easy to upgrad the tethered jb or will a restore etc need to be done to start fresh with the untethered one?
