Did iOS5 change the video format?

After 8 hours of trying to activate and sync, I get a message at the end that over 100 of my videos that I took with my point and shoot camera will not transfer over. I used to get that message, but it was for old videos that I downloaded from the web. I never noticed it for videos that I captured with my camera.

Seems to be a glitch as I've got a sync error every time I want to restore my backup. I feel there might be an iTunes version 10.5.1 coming soon addressing the issues. Fair to mention my videos aren't on the phone either.
