Need help

Did the update on the girlfriends iPhone. About half way through the update, it wanted me to re-register the phone as new. Before i could do anything, it started to restore. Ios5 went on the phone, but it didn't put any pictures or music back on the phone, and none of the apps she downloaded worked. Do I need to plug it in and restore?

Nevermind, just re-synced the phone and it all works now
