Why is it so hard for apple?

Why is it so hard for apple to give us the option to delay all notifications until you hang up the phone? I find it so annoying that we have phones that can do so much an are so powerful yet that task seems to be impossible. The notification center is a step in the right direction and I am liking io5. But frustrated that this option isn't available again,
Unless I am missing a setting somewhere.

By the way my wifi seems to be much better since the update. I can now FaceTime at work and nothing has changed here.

i hear ya. just last night a friend of mine was trying to be funny and texted me about 7 times in a row, while i was on the phone. AND i have all notifications/calls etc.. set to vibrate. it's just something we have to live with, for now

i think there is a jailbreak tweak for this very same situation..

I seriously could not agree more. It annoys the hell out of me when I am talking to a bride and the phone is vibrating and dinging in my ear.

I think it's better than no notifications. I'm not sure notification delay is high on Apple's priority list.

Why not just remove call waiting all together? Then you'll never have to worry about that. You could even get a cord-phone like back in the 90's and that would solve your problem.

Well leave it to someone to get all huffy. I am not suggesting that they get rid of notifications there Mr. Intermediate. And it's not other incoming phone calls that are the issue. It's txt messages and BS emails to buy Viagra that bother me while I am on probably a business call. All i want is for it to just wait to let me know about them when I end a call instead. Why do I need to have a call interrupted by a text message that I am going to ansewer..... Get this....AFTER my call is done. So, now you can take you corded comment to another forum now. Lol.
