Dead battery in 5 hrs.

After upgrading to the new iOS 5 yesterday,my battery is going dead in about 5 hours. I did a restore today and it didn't help. I need some answers if anyone has any. Battery goes from 100% to 10% in 5 hrs.

I believe there is another thread about this. When you did a restore, did you restore from backup? If so, I would suggest restore then set up as new phone.

I just did another setup, this time As New Phone (unlike yesterday with Restore From Backup, when battery life seemed poor). Not enough conclusive evidence yet to determine if it makes a difference, but phone is absolutely snappier as a fresh install. A pain in the butt to reinstall and reset everything, but you only do it once then use backups after that, so worth it for a major OS upgrade...

Don't restore from a backup.

5 hours total?? not 5 hours usage?? definitely set up as new device. NO backup and only sync your photos, videos and music
