Is there a way to move badge location on icons?

regarding badges on top of icons, is there a way to tweak where the badge(i.e. numbers) are placed on the icon. Right now I believe it is on the top right corner, is there a way to make it so it is in the top center or top left corner of the icon. If so, please advise what I need to tweak.

Definitely not without jailbreaking... and not sure if it can be done even with a jailbroken device.
