Jailbreak 4.3.3 Vodaphone (Portugal)

Hey guys, I have a buddy who lives in Portugal. He wants to JB his i4, 4.3.3 and he's on Voda. Will he have to unlock his device first or will one of the programs like greenpoison or redsnow work on his device just as it is?

Jailbreak(JB) and unlock are two different things. You can have a JBen phone which is not unlocked but a phone HAS to be JBen to be unlocked. So if he just wants to JB then he can use Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze(Windows) or Pwnage Tool(Mac) to do it. You can find some of those tools at iClarified - Apple News and Tutorials go to Tutorials, iPhone, Jailbreak and pick your firmware, pick your tool and follow the steps. Look up in iTunes under podcasts "Br3aking Out" podcast about JB which will enlighten anyone on the info and news about JB.
