so i was playing around the other day with iphone browser and decided psh i dont need these stupid apple apps, so i deleted them. however now i want to use one.

i have all the folders that i deleted.
i tried to place one back on the phone through iphone browser and it shows up on the springboard and all but the app crashes immediately

any ideas?

or do i just have to live and learn.

it's hard to say what's contained in the coding for the stock apps. I'm going to say you'll have to live and learn. You could reload the firmware? It is so much easier and less work to just throw them into a folder. I have an Apple folder which has all the stock apps.

You can also use SBSettings to hide icons of apps you don't want to see on the Springboard

yeah i have been using sbsettings but i just felt that i was never ever gonna need these apps and was just curious what would happen really.

lol well I guess you were wron about not needing to use the apps and now we know why they say curiosity killed the cat. lol
