Why I want to jailbreak Verizon..

I updated to the new 4.2.7 software so I have to wait till the jailbreak comes out for it. But my reasons to jailbreak would be:

- to trick phone to thinks its on wifi when its on 3g(download apps over 20mb.
- themes
- change text tones
- and a torrent app


But wondering if there is a zedge app in the jailbreak app store? I've been searching, just wondering if anyone else gets ringtones from zedge on phone.

If you jailbroke on iOS 4.2.6 and saved your SHSH blobs via Cydia, then you can downgrade back to the iOS 4.2.6.

If you haven't then, use TinyUmbrella, and backup your SHSH blob.
Then you can do as you wish.

If you're iOS is still at 4.2.6, then you can use greenpoison to jailbreak your ViP, then you can use tiny umbrellas to save your shsh blobs on your pc. There is a nice step by step "how to" on this site for all that.

someone in the forum managed to downgrade back to 4.2.6 without saving their blobs or changing their host to saurik's server. just hold alt-option(shift if your on windows) then click restore and pick the iOS 4.2.6 firmware and you should be able to downgrade.
