I installed MyWi (v4.53.1) on my VZ ip4 yesterday but having problems getting it to work properly. Everything seemed pretty straightforward till the end when I connected my laptop to the phone. On the computer it shows only a local connection to the iPhone (wireless connection) but no internet. On MyWi it shows 0 active users, which makes me think I'm not connected.
Any idea why the computer connects to the hotspot but can't establish a data connection? I have unlimited data plan with VZ.

Had a similar problem. Tried it again the next day and it worked. I think u should try rebooting the phone. That might work.
Thank u so much Yusuf! Something as simple as that, who knew? Lol. Haven't had a chance to test it out fully yet as I am on my way out the door, but from the couple of sites i checked (CNN, YouTube) everything was instantaneous, thought I was connected to my DSL lol.
