Is there a way to have more than 5 SMS tones?

Apologies in advance if this has been posted elsewhere and I was unable to dig up the answer.

I jailbroke the phone and want to add more ringtones, but read somewhere on this forum that there are only 5 slots allotted to SMS ringtones.

Does anyone know of a way to INCREASE the number of available SMS ringtones from the standard 5 ringtone slots available? I would like to add approx. 5 more custom tones, if possible.

SMS tones can't be added unless you jailbreak. However 4.0 adds more ringtones from apple.

Thanks for the reply, but I meant adding 5 more custom ringtones, on top of the 5 originally included in the phone. I have already jailbroken the phone.

You could group them into theme folders, then activate them via Winterboard. See here:
