Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but these instructions for jailbreaking/unlocking a 3G (iClarified - iPhone - How to Jailbreak and Unlock Your iPhone 3G Using RedSn0w (Windows) [4.2.1] ) never tell you to select the iPad 3.2.2 firware with the 06.15 baseband. I can't see where it has you browse to and select it.

Take a look and see if you can find where is says to select the iPad firmware to unlock. Am I crazy??

If you're using this on a phone, you would still use the phone firmware. It does tell you several times about selecting the iPad baseband, which is different than the firmware.

My phone is jailbroken...that part worked and I see where the instructions say to use the iPad baseband and the warnings about it, but it doesn't explain how when to select it. The iPad baseband that is used to unlock... is in the iPad firmware 3.2.2.

My phone is jailbroken. I used these instructions for that:

But the above instructions also say it will UNLOCK also, but never explain or say when to select the iPad firmware.

Isn't it built in to GP as an option? I thought all you had to do was tick off the "use iPad baseband" option? Did you try that?

I tried 4 times. It never gave me the step to select the iPad baseband. It skipped over to the button pushing.
