Is it normal for Cydia and sources to timeout often when downloading/installing packages? I assume that the demand is higher this weekend because the untethered greenpois0n was released. (I'm one of the new converts to jailbreaking myself.) But it is pretty irritating to wait through a blank "Running" screen for a few minutes only to get a "source unreachable" error.

Yeah. I've been having the same problem. I suspect it's due to the new greenpois0n with so many new jailbreakers all wanting to use Cydia at the same time.

It's happening to me too - it's a right pain in the backside!

Read somewhere that the greenpois0n jailbreak does slow down Cydia - whether this is permanent/fixable - I don't know.

Well, it must have been due to higher traffic on the weekend. I was able to download several packages during the day at different times with no issues at all.

Same here I'm sure cydia servers are getting hit hard with the release of the verizon iPhone.

I am guessing it's due to the traffic associated with the new JB. I personally have not had any issues.
