Hi all,

Quick question: is the manual installation method described here still good for 4.0.1? I'd really like to update to the new Cydia, but don't want to update my firmware yet.

Or if anyone has good advice about an easy way to install it, let me know!

Nevermind...installed it with iPhonebrowser and all is well.

Any change you can help with me some directions on how to use iphonebrowser and update to new cydia? I'm still on 4.01 and am waiting for new jailbreak before i update but would like to get this new cydia now?

I used the second set of instructions on this page. I had to create the two folders it mentions, but it all went fine.
